Congratulations to the many SIDE students who achieved excellent results in 2019 ATAR and VET courses.
The range and diversity of SIDE’s cohort is exemplified by the class of 2019. The group included students in public secondary schools in regional and metropolitan areas, and home-based students from within Australia and also overseas.
Many students were School Curriculum and Standards Authority Subject and Award Winners. These awards recognise individual excellence at the end of senior secondary schooling. Both general educational excellence and course-specific excellence are recognised. The School Curriculum and Standards Authority Awards Ceremony took place on Wednesday 19 February in the Government House Ballroom.
Senay Gulkesen, who has lived overseas during her ATAR studies, achieved the Subject Exhibition in Visual Arts and Subject Certificates of Excellence in Modern History and Visual Arts. Senay and her father travelled home to Perth to attend the ceremony.
