Common problems Password not working Password resetStudents and staff can reset their password for DoE email account. Don’t know your login and password details for Moodle or DoE email? Primary: Contact your class teacher. Secondary: New students who are home-based or located in a non-government school receive a Getting Started Email with the DoE Email. A second email with the subject, Password for SIDE learning IMPORTANT, contains the password. Check your Junk Mail or contact your Student Coordinator to be resent the email. Can’t find Moodle or DoE email pages? Select the STUDENTS button from the top right corner, then bookmark the Moodle and DoE email sites. In Moodle but can’t view a list of classes? New students need to set up a Moodle profile before teachers can allocate you to classes. Do this immediately. Poor internet connection Test your Internet connection at www.fast.com. Moodle is (generally) tolerant of slow connections, although pages might take a while to load, especially if they contain video or audio. Web browser is blocking actions or not responding Try a different browser for example Chrome or Edge. Nothing seems to work Choose from the list for specific support: Webex Moodle Digital Skills / General Help Contact your class teacher (Primary) or Student Coordinator (Secondary).
