Congratulations to SIDE student Jack Choate on his fantastic performance at the recent Senior Canoe Slalom Nationals in Victoria.
The under-16 paddler took out the National Junior men’s title in the men’s canoe single (C1) and added a silver medal in the men’s kayak (K1).
Choate was chosen in last year’s Junior National Canoe Slalom team as the youngest athlete on the team and looks set to make the team again this year after his strong performances during the Nationals.
