Stephen has a strong background in mural production and graphic design. He has spent over 15 years producing work in Australia and overseas. His work can be seen in WA at the Alma Street Centre in East Fremantle, and in Bassendean where he has produced works for the NAIDOC Week celebrations. His work overseas has included the Hospital Milat Principal in Lisbon in 2011 and the United Learning Centre (School of Myanmar refugees) in Kuala Lumpur in 2014.

Here is some of Stephen's work.

Stephen’s artistic process is a way of producing positive social and community benefit. In SIDE’s Centenary year, his work with students will focus on a sense of place with the theme “Where do I stand?” This week Stephen presented an initial Saba session with the students, and in Term 3 he will produce video recordings which will be posted to Moodle courses. He will be on campus at SIDE once a fortnight to work with students of SIDE Art teachers Kat Popp and Michelle Gauntlett, and will assist in the curation of an online and onsite exhibition of student work later in the year.
