SIDE Year 8 student, Lauren Rowe successfully competed in the WA Interschool Equestrian Festival at the State Equestrian Centre in April.
Despite a major setback prior to the competition, when she lost the pony she had been preparing for the event, Lauren worked hard to train a new pony and achieved excellent results in dressage and show hunting events. This is the first time SIDE has been represented at this event.
Lauren has been selected to represent WA in the National Interschool Championships in October in Victoria.
