2026 | Term 1 | Week 7 - Quairading, Bruce Rock & Kellerberrin
The Mini Industry Roadshow visited Quairading, Bruce Rock and Kellerberrin, delivering engaging, hands-on workshops to students at Quairading District High School, Bruce Rock District High School and Kellerberrin District High School. Students explored career pathways in Business, Construction and Disability Support through interactive sessions led by our professional industry trainers.
Disability Support Care
Matt delivered an engaging session featuring hands-on activities such as wheelchair navigation challenges, guided simulations of vision and hearing impairments, and role-play scenarios supporting a client with everyday tasks. These experiences fostered empathy, strengthened teamwork, and gave students a meaningful insight into careers in disability support.
Construction
Nathan facilitated a fast-paced workshop where students developed basic woodworking skills while learning to use tools safely and correctly. Students explored the wide range of career opportunities within the construction industry and applied their creativity to build their own project.
Business
Morgan introduced students to the world of business and entrepreneurship through a hands-on workshop taking them from idea to pitch. Students created their own business concepts, explored branding, and presented their ideas, building confidence while developing communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, and gaining insight into future pathways in business.
