Recently, SIDE’s Mini Industry Roadshow undertook two amazing tours to our Midwest region visiting Pia Wadjarri Remote Community School, Mullewa District High School, Cue Primary School, and Meekatharra District High School.
Students at these schools had the amazing opportunity of training with industry professionals in carpentry and cabinet making, sound engineering, entrepreneurship, and robotics. Students engaged in hands on practical skills learning workshops while discussing pathway options and learning the ‘ins an outs’ of a career in each industry.
The Mini Industry Roadshow is an exciting initiative from SIDE that brings face to face industry training to students, exploring a diverse range of industry and career fields, while offering an immersive experience for students to engage with professionals and experts. We can’t wait to bring this experience to more schools across the state in 2024.
