As part of the shared initiative between the Resource Centre and the English Learning Area, SIDE runs a series of ‘Authors online’ seminars for both our Lower and Senior School English students.
On Wednesday 24th August we were privileged to have Dr Ann McGuire deliver a lecture to our Stage 3 English Literature students online via Centra. Dr McGuire is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication and Cultural Studies at Curtin University and has been heavily involved in implementing the new Stage 3 Literature course in Western Australia. The online lecture was most engaging and gave our students valuable insights into how to prepare for the forthcoming Literature exams.
