The following information is provided to ensure appropriate examination arrangements are in place for Year 11 and 12 students studying ATAR Courses through SIDE.

Listed chronologically are dates for:

Year 11 and 12 ATAR Examination
System Assessments: NAPLAN, OLNA and External Set Task (EST)

Please note the slight variations in dates for Exams/Assessments held On and Off-site.
On-site = Exam/Assessment held at SIDE | Off-site = Exam/Assessment held at locations other than SIDE

2025 Semester Two:
Term 3 Week 8	OLNA R2 \| Monday 8 - Tuesday 9 September
Term 3 Week 10	Year 12 Semester 2 Exams \| Monday 22 - Friday 26 September
Term 4 Week 5	Year 11 Semester 2 Exams \| Monday 10 - Friday 14 November
Term 4 Weeks 4-6	ATAR course written exams \| Wednesday 29 October – Thursday 20 November

Reporting

Expired

Regular feedback and communication about student progress is a strength of SIDE.

There are two formal reports issued annually:

End of Semester 1 reports.
End of Semester 2 reports.

SIDE uses the Department of Education's Reporting to Parents application.

In addition students receive feedback on each assessment task. Teachers welcome contact from parents and supervisors to discuss the progress of each student.

Reporting Dates to Parents

Parents will have access to their child’s report via the internet (Connect) on or about the following dates.
