This course is designed to build capacity of students to assist with demonstrating the standard of numeracy for WACE graduation
F3MAT
In this unit, students
- use percentages and link these to fractions and decimals
- solve problems with the four operations (+ ,-, × ,÷ ) using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- study problems with location, time and temperature
- study shapes and the application to design
F4MAT
In this unit, students
- work problems involving rates and ratios, statistics and probability
- apply the skill learned to comprehensive real life problems
