Course Content Description: |
Keys4Life Plus is a more in-depth pre-driver program which educates young people about safer road use and allows them to sit their Learner’s Permit Theory Test. The program includes ‘real world’ learning experiences where vehicles are used for some of the learning experiences (eg investigating the engine and cabin of the car, car maintenance and looking at the road environment). Students also explore the Safer System and the role of individuals, the community, workplaces, government, manufacturing and private enterprise in reducing the road toll.
Students must:
Students
- Attend at least 80% of the Keys4Life lessons (40 hours/Lessons in total)
- Submit a completed Behind the Wheel student journal and Keys4Life student workbook to the teacher
- Undertake the Learner’s Permit Theory Test at school (but not necessarily pass)
- Students passing the theory test at school are exempt from the Test and fee at a licensing centre (if the student passes)
