Course Content Description: |
A1MAM
In this unit, students
- build on algebraic concepts of function and graphs
- review fundamentals of probability and are introduced to conditional probability and independence
- study radian measure and trig functions from the Unit Circle, right and non-right triangles.
A2MAM
In this unit, students
- are introduced to exponential functions, arithmetic and geometric sequences
- study rates of change and the derivative and learn techniques of differentiation
- apply differentiation to sketch curves, calculate slopes and tangents to curves, solve application and optimisation problems
