Course Content Description: |
AEHEA1
In this unit, students
- learn about health determinants and their impact on health.
- explore the use of Health promotion as a framework for designing approaches to improve health.
- examine attitudes, beliefs and norms and their impact on decision-making
- extend their understandings of factors influencing health, and actions and strategies to protect and promote health through inquiry processes.
AEHEA2
In this unit, students
- learn about the impact of factors influencing the health of communities
- learn about community development and how community participation can improve health outcomes.
- apply investigative and inquiry processes to analyse issues influencing the health of communities; and develop appropriate responses.
