The focus for this unit is Differences. Students will:
- Explore approaches to drawing and documenting ideas
- Develop an understanding of visual language
- Research visual artists and develop a case study based on an artist of choice
- Develop an awareness of styles of representation before creating a stylistic artwork of their own
A2VAR
The focus for this unit is Identities. Students will:
- Explore and develop ideas and media associated with the concept of identity
- Develop understanding of visual language, personal response and interpretation in their written responses
- Research visual artists and develop a case study based on an artist of choice
- Develop a personal approach to express personal, social or cultural identity in the form of a unique artwork
