This Safer Internet Day, SIDE is calling on everyone to play it safe and fair online.

Join the global initiative that brings families, schools, organisations and governments from 170 countries together to raise awareness about online safety.

There is no place for online abuse. We can all help to make life online enjoyable by being kind and respectful to each other.

Be an eSafe kid: Your voice counts

A free virtual classroom event for Year 3-6 students from the Office of the eSafety Commissioner  for Safer Internet Day that supports students as they learn to use their voice online to keep themselves and others safe.

Year 3-6 students will:

  • identify what is important when creating and sharing content
  • understand the impact that posts and comments can have on themselves and others
  • develop help-seeking and reporting strategies.
