Students learn about:
- The impacts of politics, economics, leadership, international relations
- Elements of society and culture and their values, beliefs and traditions
- Key people’s methods and strategies and groups seeking change.
G4HIM
The focus for this unit is Historical Trends and Movements: The civil rights movement in the USA 1941-1971
Students learn about:
- Elements of society at the start of the period
- The development of movements and trends through the period
- Methods and strategies used by leaders, individuals and groups, including Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.
