A3VAR
The focus for this unit is Commentaries. Students will:
- Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of visual language
- Explore, investigate and experiment with a variety of media before specialising in one art-form
- Engage in and research artists before developing a case study on one artist
- Gain inspiration from diverse sources to develop their own unique artwork
A4VAR
The focus for this unit is Points of Views. Students will:
- Develop understanding of visual language and gain greater fluency in written responses
- Use critical frameworks to develop interpretative and analytical skills
- Explore and develop ideas through the investigation of different artists, art forms and technologies to synthesise a personal point of view
- Specialise in a particular art-form
