The increasing availability of information technologies in student homes and schools meant that greater interactivity could occur between students and their teachers, and with their classmates.
Students were now able to create a range of responses to tasks and share these with other students in a secure environment. In this example Lauren, an overseas student has created a short video to share what she has been reading for an English task. Lauren uploaded the video into a Moodle class forum. All the students in the class could view these contributions and participate in discussions about their own work and the work of others in the class.
