George Halleen was Principal of the Distance Education Centre in 1987 and discusses working from the Havelock Street site and what the school was like for staff and students.

David has worked in distance education for 27 years in various roles, but most recently has worked with the Distribution Centre team. He discusses some of the changes in this team’s behind the scenes contribution to distance education, and some memorable moments for its staff.

Gail and Jenny are primary teachers who shared an office in the late 70s and early 80s at the WA Correspondence School and the Distance Education Centre. They remember some special experiences such as the ABC radio broadcasts, camps in regional areas and in Perth, and visits to families.

Colleen and her son Tommy discuss their different experiences with distance education; Colleen in the 1970s through the WA Correspondence School and HF Radio, and Tommy and his brothers in the 2000s through SIDE.
