The focus for this unit is Commentaries. Students will:

• Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of visual language
• Explore, investigate and experiment with a variety of media before specialising in one art-form
• Engage in and research artists before developing a case study on one artist
• Gain inspiration from diverse sources to develop their own unique artwork

A4VAR

The focus for this unit is Points of Views. Students will:

• Develop understanding of visual language and gain greater fluency in written responses
• Use critical frameworks to develop interpretative and analytical skills
• Explore and develop ideas through the investigation of different artists, art forms and technologies to synthesise a personal point of view
• Specialise in a particular art-form
