Course Content Description:

A3MAA

In this unit, students

  • are introduced to bivariate data and the tools for modelling associations between variables
  • use recursion to model growth and decay
  • use graphs and networks to model and analyse everyday situations

A4MAA

In this unit, students

  • study time series data
  • study financial calculations of loans, investments and annuities
  • use networks to model and aid in decision making in practical situations
Recommended Background: C grade or higher in Year 11 ATAR Mathematics Applications
