Course Content Description:	A1ACF The focus of this unit is on double entry accounting for small business including: Financial institutions and sources of finance Financial systems and fundamental principles – business ownership Recording, using and evaluating financial information – GST, journals, ledgers The role and influence of government and other bodies on small business. A2ACF The focus for this unit is accrual accounting: The nature of risks to small business Financial reports – depreciation, inventories Processing financial information – general journals, income statements The role of professional accounting and financial associations.
Recommended Background:	C grade or higher in Year 10 Humanities and Social Sciences and Mathematics
