Course Content Description:

Development of community service skills that contribute to civic well being.

Students:

  • commit at least 50 hours or 100 hours to activities associated with the development of relevant skills
  • develop personal qualities such as an ethos of services
  • write logs
  • collect evidence
  • submit a portfolio which includes evidence of knowledge and understanding, abilities, skills and/or techniques.
Recommended Background: Active participation in community service (activities undertaken for the benefit of individuals and/or community for no financial reward)
Mode of Delivery: In Moodle and live, online lessons
Certificate Completion: Contributes to WACE achievement - 1 unit equivalence. Maximum of 4 programs.
General Pathway: Entry into training or the workforce
