Course Content Description:

A1MAS

In this unit, students

  • develop mathematical arguments in a geometry proof
  • study combinations for use in probability and algebra
  • study vectors in 2 dimensions.

A2MAS

In this unit, students

  • use matrices to work with 2-dimensional situations in geometry
  • learn about complex numbers
  • apply trigonometry techniques to a variety of situations
  • develop the technique of proof by mathematical induction
