Course Content Description:	This course is designed to build the capacity of students using whole numbers to meet their daily needs. P1MAT: In this unit, the number format is restricted to whole numbers. Students solve problems involving money and reading the time use addition and subtraction to solve basic everyday maths problems recognise, name and count money and use appropriate symbols learn basic concepts for measurement of time, length, mass and capacity represent simple objects in space by drawing and describing P2MAT: This unit uses whole numbers. Students use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division applied to daily problems involving money work with measurement of time learn how to follow directions learn to recognise familiar shapes.
