Course Content Description:	This course is designed to build the capacity of students to assist with demonstrating the standard of numeracy needed for WACE graduation. F1MAT In this unit, the number format is restricted to whole numbers and money. Students solve problems using addition and subtraction applied to length, mass, capacity and time. extract information from data presented in tables and graphs F2MAT This unit uses whole numbers, money, fractions and decimals. Students solve problems with fractions and decimals using multiplication and division solve problems using fractions and decimals applied to perimeter, area and volume calculate simple probability in everyday contexts.
Recommended Background:	C grade or above in Year 10 Mathematics
