Course Content Description:	A1MPA The focus for this unit is Popular culture. Students: Analyse and respond to a range of popular culture media Identify techniques, purposes and meanings and audience interpretation Develop their own ideas and learn production skills to produce their own media work A2MPA The focus for this unit is the influence of media. Students: Analyse and respond to a range of media work designed to influence audiences, including journalism and social media platforms Develop their own ideas and expand production skills to produce their own documentary.
Recommended Background:	C grade or higher in Year 10 English
