Common Problems
Password reset allows students and staff to reset their password for their DoE email account.
Primary: Contact your class teacher.
Secondary: New students who are home-based or located in a non-government school receive a Getting Started Email with the DoE email. A second email with the subject Password for SIDE learning IMPORTANT contains the password.
Check your Junk Mail or contact your Student Coordinator to have the email resent.
Select the LOGIN button from the top right corner, then bookmark the Moodle and DoE email sites.
New students need to set up a Moodle profile before teachers can allocate classes. Complete this immediately.
Test your internet connection at www.fast.com. Moodle is generally tolerant of slow connections, although pages may take a while to load, especially when they contain video or audio.
Try a different browser such as Chrome or Edge.
Nothing seems to work
Choose from the list for specific support:
- Contact your class teacher for Primary support or your Student Coordinator for Secondary support.
- Contact SIDE ICT for help .
- Problems logging into DoE email or Moodle? Try resetting your password . Otherwise, contact your teacher for help.
- SIDE IT support may ask you to use TeamViewer. Download TeamViewer QuickSupport .
