  • Visitors from Japan

hyogo visitWestern Australia has had a sister state relationship with Japan's Hyogo Prefecture since 1981. As part of an ongoing exchange program, we recently welcomed school administrators and representatives from the Hyogo Board of Education. Our visitors were particularly interested in learning about SIDE, our history and development, and how we operate and deliver courses to students of all ages. SIDE's Principal, Mr. Noel Chamberlain, was presented with a hand-made wall hanging to mark the occasion.

SIDE delivers online Japanese lessons into 33 schools and many home-based students across Western Australia.

In October, Mr. Chamberlain will be travelling to Japan on a return visit.
