Course Information

Located in Leederville, SIDE is the centre for distance learning within the Department of Education.

SIDE Secondary provides

  • quality on-line education programs for secondary students who do not have access to conventional schools and
  • curriculum support to Western Australian schools

Lower Secondary (Year 7 to 10)

SIDE caters for students from diverse backgrounds and needs.
Students in Years 7 – 10 are expected to study across the eight Learning Areas.
The  2017 Year 7 – 10 Curriculum Information brochure contains a curriculum overview.
